CUSTOM GRADUATED BEAKER FIXTURES
Precision Electric turned to RESOLUTE to create a striking biotech theme light fixture for the two-story entry to Town Square, a newly renovated office building located near Seattle’s South Lake Union biotech hub. Alexandria Real Estate Equities converted the former Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation offices into lab spaces ideally suited to emerging life sciences companies.
A graduated beaker motif was chosen for the approximately 7’ tall by 7’ diameter chandelier; forty beakers — in a mix of 250 ml and 600 ml sizes — are lit with 1.2W LED lamps. The LED lamps are encircled by steel coils in a sly reference to old-school Edison filament lamps. Complementary rigid-stem pendant fixtures use dimmable 25W incandescent bulbs.
RESOLUTE’s DAVID, FORTUNA and OTTO pendants are installed in other locations throughout the facility.
