Caroline Kline Galland Home

Skilled Nursing Facility  – Seattle, Washington

Seattle designers Rice Fergus Miller chose four PROSPERITY pendants adorn the new lobby living room at the Caroline Kline Galland Home, a 205-bed, skilled nursing facility on the shores of Lake Washington in the Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle.

The shade is Ø22” in diameter at the bottom, Ø21” at the top, 12” high and comprised of Xorel “Dash” 6603-16 stretched over high impact acrylic sheet.  The bottom diffuser disk is permanently bonded to shade sides.  These compact fluorescent fixtures feature Lutron EcoSystem 5% dimming electronic ballasts.

PROSPERITY is conceived as a versatile, adaptable light fixture system offering an interchangeable array of size and color options.   The clean, sealed fixture design incorporates a technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable shade fabric.  Xorel, a highly durable woven polyethylene textile from Carnegie Fabrics, is inherently anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-staph, water repellant and stain resistant.  It is ideal for hospital, medical office, hotel, and other demanding public applications.

Smart Building compatible fluorescent dimming versions are available.  XOREL by Carnegie Fabrics is MBDC Cradle-to-Cradle certified Silver.

PROSPERITY pendants of other diameters hang elsewhere in the facility.
