The Kitchen Table, Fort Lee

Dining venue  – Fort Lee, Virginia

Messenger, a design-build studio in Seattle and New York specializing in environmental design, brand development and graphic design, selected Resolute fixtures for The Kitchen Table at Fort Lee in south-central Virginia.

The Kitchen Table is one of three new dining venues operated by Centerplate at the 1,000-room Fort Lee Lodge.   It offers soldiers, families and staff high quality comfort foods and locally-sourced menu items in a campus-style dining area.

Fixtures selected include three custom Savoyes with shades measuring 60” in diameter and 18” tall, nine custom Savoyes with shades measuring 48” in diameter and 16” tall,  and nine Smith 16-9 pendants.   All shades are Xorel Quarry 6619-92.

Fort Lee is the US Army’s third largest training site, hosting a daily population of more than 27,000 soldiers and personnel.  About 70,000 troops train at Fort Lee annually.
