“My name means the shape I am—and a good handsome shape it is, too.” – Humpty Dumpty, 1871
Humpty Dumpty once sat on a wall… but we had other ideas for him.
In actuality, our whole Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland collection can point back to this fixture, beginning with a nursery rhyme and a specific commission.
Suspended from a ceiling, a once rigid egg finds movement and flexibility. Two domes freely circle around each other on a drop stem giving freedom to orientation. While the larger remains seated upright, the smaller dome rotates on yet another axis, revealing the true greatness this infamous egg always had, not his big fall, but a luminous gold leaf interior finish.
Illuminated with two 10W Resolute Simple LED sources, each with independent Casambi mesh network diming controls. Adjust light levels from your phone or a McWong (non-wired) wall switch.
Humpty Dumpty was put back together again; and built to respond and play with its surroundings. Light goes where you decide to throw it. Give it a turn.
