Softly lucent Nara glows from within layers of sustainable and recyclable materials: an FSC certified marine grade Okuome plywood shell is encircled with natural kraft paper-wrapped steel wire and enrobed in bio-based Xorel fabric from Carnegie.
Nara’s luminescence is provided by a wholly enclosed 39W light engine; Nara emits a 3 to 1 ratio of downlight to uplight.
A variety of stain finishes are available for both wood and paper-wrapped wire to complement a wide range of fabric options.
The fixture is hung by field cut stainless steel aircraft cable, with clear jacketed electrical cord.
