A steel cylinder was adapted for signature illumination of virtual reality game company Rec Room’s break area. The landlord’s lease document included seven powder coated downlights, RecRoom chipped in for something truly special.

Laser cut steel blanks were rolled and TIG welded, brass plated, then blackened on the exterior. Fixtures are suspended by orange cloth colored cord.

Soraa LED lamps equipped with proprietary Snap filters provide perfect downlight.

Ø 4.5″ x 14″ steel cylinder shades. Laser cut, rolled and TIG welded.

Brass plated: bright interior finish, blackened exterior.

Suspended by orange cloth covered cord.

Fixtures utilize PAR20 Soraa Vivid E26 base Snap System compatible 10° beam LED reflector lamps. 11W, 500 lumens, 95 CRI, 2700K.

A 36° beam Snap Filter was selected to best illuminate the logo, just graze the perimeter of the aperture of the fixture with the light beam, and to create a perfect pool of downlight on the counter. The lamp is placed to be barely visible when viewed from below.

Soraa Snap System accessories are magnetically attached.
